Coldwater Trails - Upper Trailhead

UPDATE: February 13, 2023

Dear Coldwater Mountain Trail User:

The QR code you just scanned is part of a study being conducted by the local Trail Maintenance group affiliated with the Northeast Alabama Bicycle Association (NEABA).  It is currently being used to help determine the likelihood of users to scan an available QR code.  At this time, the scan you just completed is only being used to log quantity of scans being made (and directing you to this web page).  In the future, codes like these may be used to provide specifics such as additional trail information, notice of upcoming events at the trail, or opportunities to give back to the trail via either monetary donations or volunteering for a Trail Work Day.

Scanning this code does not collect any personal data; however, it does have the ability to recognize unique devices and the date it was scanned (so scanning multiple times from the same phone on the same day will not affect our study).  On that note, we do encourage all members of your group to scan the code from their own device to help us determine the potential reach we may get from the community of trail users.  We also recommend you scan it on each subsequent visit to this trailhead (or anytime you see another code anywhere on one of our local trail systems) since the information contained may be updated at any time and provide you with new information or opportunity to help make the trails better for everyone.

Thank you for your time and enjoy the trails!
